The Amateur Tutorial #1: How To Capture Fireworks

My Kodak C190!

Hi adventurers! There was a reader of my blog that asked me to write about a tutorial about how I captured the fireworks in my The Amateur Photographer: Collection #1 article by using my camera. Since it is just an ordinary digital camera, the steps are so easy. So, these are the steps for amateur photographer about how to capture fireworks by using Kodak C190:

1. Prepare your digital camera. Check your battery and the memory card. Make sure you have enough energy and memory.

Preparation time!

2. Set your digital camera into Scene (SCN) Mode and then choose Fireworks Mode. You are ready to capture the fireworks.

Get  set!

3. Make your hands steady. You can use your chest or a wall around you to rest your hands. Do not shake!

4. Press the button before the fireworks blow so you can get the beautiful colors and shapes of the fireworks. You have to do this so many times to get the great pictures. Sometimes you will miss the moments because it just happened so fast. I often captured the dark sky because the fireworks had disappeared.

5. After you finish capturing the fireworks, put the photos in your computer. Crop the most beautiful part in the picture, write your name and year as an information, and the photo's name if you think it's necessary. I always use Paint to do all of this because I don't really understand how to use Photoshop. Really easy, isn't it? Just crop, give a name, and save!

Paint!

6. Then, post you photos and give me the link. I will be very happy to see and comment on your article!

That's all, adventurers! So short and easy, right? You just need to practice and practice. If you don't have any money to buy a very expensive camera, just buy the ordinary digital camera like I did. You can still capture great pictures though! Good luck!
